The schedule is quiet today, but the Sound Tigers ended their weekend with a kill.

Which is more remarkable? The fact the Bridgeport Sound Tigers faced 13 Springfield power plays -- yes, thirteen -- last night, or the fact they killed off all of them in Anders Nilsson's 3-0 shutout win?

Bridgeport coach Scott Pellerin, in the Connecticut Post:

"Bogy (assistant coach Eric Boguniecki) and I were talking going off the ice and saying that's the Anders we remember," Bridgeport coach Scott Pellerin said.

"That's his game. He made big saves. He covered rebounds. ... He was tracking the puck."

It was Nilsson's second shutout of the season, in his second game since being returned from the Islanders after Evgeni Nabokov came off IR.

More on the win -- Anders Lee and Scott Mayfield scored 16 seconds apart in the first, Marc Cantin got a match penalty -- from the official site and in the Post's Soundin' Off blog.

And video highlights from the Sound Tigers YouTube channel:

Also from Michael Fornabaio's reporting in the above, Pellerin said Ryan Strome is day-to-day.
