2014 LHH Outdoor Game Meetup: What's Your Battle Level?

Going to the game? Not going to the game? Hang out with your favorite LHH enforcers, snipers and satirists.

Do not ask who is next to John Tavares.
Do not ask who is next to John Tavares.

Lighthouse Hockey has been around since before John Tavares was an Islander. During that time we saw the one weekend in Buffalo that Mike Comrie was a stud, undead Radek Martinek and Yann Danis: Starting Goalie. Needless to say there's been a lot more losses than wins. But either way nothing has been more enjoyable then sharing in the game threads with everyone in our community.

This season the Islanders were finally made a part of the outside hockey game, mostly because half the teams in the league are going to be playing outside this year. What better way to celebrate then to drink some beers, share some laughs and root on the team that we love?

On Jan. 29 the Isles will be taking on the Rangers at Yankee Stadium.

On Jan. 29, Lighthouse Hockey will be getting together at Stout's (133 W 33rd St, New York, NY) starting at 6 p.m. to prepare for the game (*drinking) watching the game (drinking) and celebrating (drinking) or firing everyone (drinking).

*diet colas, surely

Unfortunately our beloved leader will not be able to join us, but Keith, Dan, Chris, Mike (ICanSeeForIslesAndIsles) and I all expect to be there.

As someone whose been a reader of this blog since 2009 and a member of the writing crew since 2010, being a part of this community really is the greatest. Being able to meet and hang out with some of you will probably be a highlight for me as part of LHH. From the rest of the guys too, I'm sure they are all hoping to see you there. (Except you. You know who. Yeah you, you're the one.) Let's have some fun.

In Summary:

LHH Meetup at Stouts (133 W 33rd St, Manhattan) January 29th at 6 PM till whenever. I realize this might be a bit of a ride for those who are going to the game, but Stout's is close to Penn Station which is centralized for a lot of people.
