Islanders Single-Game Tix Sept. 3; Bridgeport Schedule Released

Some perspective: Even more than "Will the Isles add another goalie?" Even more than "If Frans is a deity, how best to make a sacrifice in his honor?" and "Is Tavares the Second Coming?", the question I receive most over the summer is: "Hey, when do single-game tickets go on sale?"

Now we have an answer, though the question does not rise to the level of scripture.

Individual tickets (for the first half) go on sale at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. If you're a season ticket holder -- or become one between now and then -- then you get a special presale for individual tickets on Aug. 27.

(Aside: Another question I get a lot is what gathering is there for the Brooklyn game? Lots of interest, add your ideas in comments.)

Meanwhile, Bridgeport schedule (and the rest of the AHL) was finally released, with the Sound Tigers opening with five at home.

Michael Fornabaio has a more insightful breakdown of what it means for Bridgeport.
