Sound Tigers Gameday: Back to normal...almost

For one more game, the lockout-infused (but fairly injured) Bridgeport Sound Tigers play against the Hershey Bears with some players who are likely to be in the NHL soon.

Good run, boys.

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers don't know exactly which players they're losing or when thanks to the end of the NHL lockout, because the CBA is still to be ratified and NHL camps won't start until the weekend, earliest.

So tonight we carry on like we've been: Bridgeport hosts the Hershey Bears at 7 p.m. No one held out for looming camp purposes -- there are plenty of injuries on that scratch list, anyway. But you have to wonder which of the recent PTOs are biding time for regular duty once spots open up thanks to health and/or NHL promotion to the parent New York Islanders. (Even more so, the defense, Vis or no Vis.)

Travis Hamonic is on the mend; no doubt his last action as a Sound Tiger is already behind him.

Kevin Poulin gets the start in net.

You can get audio of this one at ahllive.com (as always) or tonight via satellite radio at Sirius 207/XM 92. Thanks to everyone who has watched, listened and/or shared notes on the Baby Isles during the lockout. As always, we'll keep paying attention, though not on a game-to-game basis. There are better sources for that.

UPDATE: Speaking of which, Michael Fornabaio has the lines at Soundin' Off, all nice and tidy there.
