The Bridgeport Sound Tigers pushed a recent eight-game winless streak further behind them with a 4-3 home win over the Albany Devils, Bridgeport's fifth consecutive game earning at least a point.
The win ended a couple of streaks for the Devils: a five-game win streak for goalie Keith Kinkaid and a six-game point streak for his club.
Casey Cizikas and Matt Donovan alternated goals for the Sound Tigers, while the two teams alternated leads throughout. Donovan's second goal with under eight minutes to play gave Bridgeport the 4-3 lead, its third and final lead of the night. For Kevin Poulin, who made a game-saver in the waning seconds, it was his first win since early November.
Working the fourth line (and wearing #4), Scott Campbell was the only new PTO to debut. More on that in the coverage links below.
The win pushes Bridgeport back up into eight in the East, while Albany settles five points behind in 12th.
