FN.G.O. & A-Mac: Islanders at the NHL Store

This is one of those fan outreach initiatives that's probably worth preserving here. The Islanders sent Andrew MacDonald and their most dangerous line (Michael Grabner, Frans Nielsen and Kyle Okposo) to the NHL Store in Manhattan Monday to answer fan questions in a roundtable with Billy Jaffe. Jaffe also sat down with road roommates Grabner and MacDonald for a side interview [videos after the jump].

More than a few readers and commenters at this site were in attendance, including Bryan2112 who posed the question several of us weighed in recent days: Which nickname can we give that line? Bryan reports Okposo liked what I believe was Anarcurt's nomination "FnGO" (Frand Nielsen Grabner Okposo). And so it shall be, on this site anyway. FN.GO, fungo, function:GO, you can read it a lot of the ways, but of course I prefer to imagine it in a Gillies sort of way.

Here's the NHL.com write-up; more discussion among attendees in comments for this FanShot here. Videos of Jaffe with Grabner and A-Mac are posted after the jump.

He blames a buddy for getting him involved over the summer. Matt Moulson never stood a chance. ("But he usually instigates it.")
