Bailey Rakhs The AHL
The AHL may not be able to contain Josh Bailey for much longer. In just seven games he is already tied for third on the SoundTigers with 3 Goals and 8 Assists for 11 points and leads the team with a +5. He's also helped linemate Rhett Rakhshani take over first in Rookie scoring in the AHL and 26th in points among all skaters. Bailey was demoted on the 24th and played that night, Rakh was held off the scoresheet that night and once more since. In the 8 games since Bailey was sent down he has 12 points and in every game this month he has 2 or more points. BP is on a 3 game winning streak and is 6-2-1-1 in their last ten.
On Wednesday BP beat Springfield 5-3, behind Bailey's [Rakhshani, Dylan Reese] game winner and first star performance. Other goals by Marcinko [Motherwell, Haley] Rakhshani [Colliton, Reese] Campbell [Labell, O'Neil] Marcinko (EN) [Svendsen] with Marcinko taking 2nd star and Rakhshani taking 3rd star. Kevin Poulin had 21 saves on 24 shots.
Last Night BP beat Syracuse 4-3, with Wes O'Neil scoring the game winner assisted by none other then Bailey and Rakhshani. Other goals by Jeremy Colliton [Rakhshani, Bailey] Rakhshani [Bailey, Katic] Svendsen [Colliton]. Rakhshani took first star, Robin Figren took third star. Mikko Koskinen had 30 saves on 33 shots.
Natural Born Kirills
Kirill Petrov played one game this week and didn't score. He has 5 Goals, 6 Assists, 11 points in 25 games.
Kirill Kabanov is listed as Day To Day with an upper body injury and didn't play this week.
WHL, OHL, NCAA and Europe
Nino Niederreiter had a quiet week for his standard, notching 3 assists in 3 games this week. He has 11 goals, 12 Assists for 23 points in 22 games this year. He did visit a child's hospital [link] and really, they needed to take video of it.
The Wheat Kings continue to struggle, losing two more one goal games this week. David Toews only grabbed an assist, putting him at 6 goals, 9 assists, 15 points in 22 games.
The Oshawa Generals were upended by the Bulls 6-1. Tony DeHart had an assist on the lone goal [at 1:20] but finished the night -2. Calvin De Haan finished the night even. The Generals PP after this game was on a 0-33 streak.
Casey Cizikas and the Mississauga St Majors beat the Niagara IceDogs 2-1 in the shootout. Cizikas scored the lone Majors goal and scored in the shootout.
Oshawa and Mississauga faced off Friday night with the Generals getting the upset win in Mississauga 3-2. Calvin DeHaan had an assist and was +1 on the night. Casey Cizikas was held scoreless. Tony DeHart appears to have been a healthy scratch that night.

In two games this week Matt Donovan had a Goal and Assist for the University of Denver. In 20 games he has 5 G, 9 A and 14 Points this season.
