So tonight, some constitution of the Islanders plays the Devils in Newark, and Saturday night is the only home preseason game (also against the Devils), while the other half of the split squad plays the Habs in Quebec. I'm sure we'll learn more at the official site camp diary and elsewhere as the day goes on. Mean time:
- Rob Schremp Hockey on his second chance, post-Oilers, with the Islanders.
- On the NHL (and Islanders) visiting Saskatoon, and attendance. Remember that in last year's game, neither the Isles nor Flames dressed their stars.
- Someone somewhere graded the Islanders summer moves as a C.
- In Lou We Trust guesses their roster, and does the season preview drill.
- Mike Mottau's wife had a baby this week, so he's presumably a little busy. [Tom Gulitti Twitter]
- Time to build a Lighthouse Hockey Glossary here. It needs your help.
- Same Canadian story from yesterday on the Isles injury situation, but I think this version is the longest.
- On cue, we have a MSM story connecting Sheldon Souray on waivers with the Isles (only barely).
- Classic car buff? Tomorrow is one of the Islanders' wilder community partnership events.
