Penguins at Islanders [game thread]

Update since the preview: looks like Mark Streit is in, Joe Callahan out. It's at the office for me, sneaking glances at the game feed during calls. Visitors, if you notice a higher pitch to the cheering in today's game, that's because it's Kids' Day at Nassau Coliseum. Be you working or be you bank hoiday-ing, feel free to chime in.

"To be able to put everything aside and not change who they are because of the standings and to go out and play, knowing this isn't the greatest of situations but making the most of it. Quite honestly, those are the guys you want back next year."

And those guys you don't want back -- who might they be? I've got some guesses...
