Kings-Islanders [open game thread and live blog]

Yann Danis is expected to start. Nate Thompson, already expected to be out, is now projected for 4-6 weeks on IR. Heh, it is unclear when Jon Sim will next sniff in-game ice, but with this club new injuries are always just around the corner.

A lot of new posts today bumped it down the page, but the game preview is here. Battle of California also looks at the Kings schedule to determine the Kings playoff chances. Outlook: cloudy. (Sportsclubstats has them at 36.1%, but it bumps up to 41.9% if the Kings win. Ain't projection fun?)

And now, on to your regularly scheduled Lighthouse Hockey game thread. There was also a Twittered hint of liveblogging by 7th Woman and others, so I will update if I remember and/or see any movement.

As always, leave your celebrations, ventings, odd photos, game-related (or not) comments and non sequiturs here. I'll be back by game time.
