UPDATE: Per Katie Strang, Josh Bailey and Jeff Tambellini both sit out tonight! Okposo and Comeau in, with Rob Schremp still in and playing center. Whoa.

It's Martin Biron vs. Manny Legace! It's Kyle "game time decision" Okposo vs. the roster void left by Tim "I've been waived" Conboy! Sorry, best I could do; not a Conboy fan, me. Remember, if Okposo dresses -- hard to imagine him not -- a new scratch sits. We'll update this thread once that's clear.

Meanwhile, in links of note, the recently arraigned and passport-forfeiting Bobby Hughes (a former Hurricanes property) was back skating with the Sound Tigers, and Business Week weirdly picks up the Charles Wang as Lighthouse/real estate developer story (no new info, just a background from the BW perspective).

In keeping with the Raising Arizona motif from the previous game thread intro, we'll go with this: The 2009-10 Hurricanes found the NHL's womb a barren, rocky place, where their victory seeds could find no purchase.

Let's. Go. Flu-Destroyers!
