The New York Islanders had two top prospects face off in the WCHA Final Five, with Brock Nelson's North Dakota prevailing over Scott Mayfield's Denver.

Including Brock Nelson and Anders Lee, the New York Islanders have a couple of promising forward and defensive prospects playing in NCAA playoff action the weekend of March 9-11.
