"Who would have thought that a player whose defensive problems were as frightening as his 100-miles-per-hour slapshot could learn to play in the tight defensive system favored by Wild coach Jacques Lemaire?"
Great post by Newsday's Greg Logan, describing MAB's 180 and how Lemaire taught him some things no coach had before. This guy was dumped twice last season, got in all of 55 games, and was left for dead. Logan also gets into the nature of players fitting and not fitting systems, which is a bit of a hot topic among Islanders fans right now.
