I'd been thinking about constructing an argument about why plunging for Phil Kessel -- as discussed here recently -- would be the wrong move for the Isles (assuming he wants $4 million-plus, assuming the compensation needed).
Essentially, I'm against that money and term for a kid who has some character red flags that he'd bring around a very young Islanders locker room. As it turns out, I don't need to make that argument, because CBC's Elliotte Friedman already has.
