The New York Islanders hope all their struggles don't go for naught tonight as they await the placement of their 2012 1st-round pick through the NHL Draft Lottery.

The New York Islanders were bumped out of the top four in the NHL Draft when the Devils won the lottery and vaulted from the 8th to the 4th overall selection.
