Just when I thought Mike Keenan had lapped Pat Quinn for good in the all-time coaching wins race, within one week Calgary fires Keenan and Quinn, 66, resurfaces with the other Alberta team. Quinn should easily pile up the 16 wins needed to reclaim fourth place from Keenan. Unless ... surely Keenan won't get yet another crack, will he? Some initial Oilers fan impressions at Copper and Blue.

Even if the Islanders can't handle the flying Flames tonight, they should receive good All-Star Game news for astute free-agent signing Mark Streit.
