The New York Islanders have reportedly agreed to terms with 2011 pick John Persson, while 2010 pick Kirill Kabanov is a champion with the Memorial Cup-winning Shawinigan Cataractes.

Despite his shoulder injury at the WJC, Islanders prospect Travis Hamonic will get some important games this spring to finish out his junior career.
