Tavares, Bailey, Schremp and Nielsen - are players whom Gordon wants to groom at the center position and form into a force up the middle.

— Strang's article about moving Doug Weight to wing. Even before Schremp, we knew Weight (or Tavares at first) would end up on wing. Tavares's capable start just codifies things. If they want to grow around those four for now, I'm fine with that. We'll see who sticks and what changes are needed as we move further along.
