Great column, except the Heatley rip at the end (does it really matter which NHL teams he rejected in terms of playing for Team Canada?) Great summation of the Balsillie/Coyotes situation -- why Balsillie is foolish and the NHL disingenuous.

The NHL CBA states that every player on a relocated team shall receive $6,000. So there's that to soothe Shane Doan's pain.
