We at the prestigious Lighthouse Hockey School of Design and Clown College consider ourselves the leading forces of cutting edge Islanders meme haute couture.
Now, from the makers of "I'm Not Gonna Talk About The Goaltending" and "What's Your Battle Level," comes a shirt design that was requested almost immediately and is based on an instantly classic moment that tapped into the deep well of Islanders fan psychosis.
The Lighthouse Hockey Draft T-Shirt memorializes general manager Garth Snow's now infamous evaluation of prospect Joshua Ho-Sang. When asked by TSN's James Duthie whether Ho-Sang's reputation of outspokenness and the criticisms levied upon him by the Canadian media had any effect on the Islanders decision to draft him, Snow's response was accurate, poignant and empowering.
Now, you can relive that exciting evening and stick it to hockey blowhards everywhere in this new shirt. The design features Snow's quote inside a silhouette of the draft stage at the moment of Ho-Sang's selection. It's available in two colors: Brazen Blue or Wise-Ass White.
As always, we couldn't have done this without the support of the Lighthouse Hockey community, as well as that of the great Joel Hollingsworth at GameDay Depot, an SB Nation partner. Thanks for all the help, Joel and thanks to everyone for the inspiration. You can order any of our shirts any time from our Lighthouse Hockey Store.
