Food for thought the about Barclays Center

So having digested the hype and after-hype of the preseason game at the BC, I was just curious if there are any plans to make adjustments to the arena in an effort to make it more fit for a hockey team. While there were many pictures of sight-lines that looked fantastic, there were an equal number of pictures that were embarrassing for a hockey arena. I guess I can deal with the scoreboard being off center as we've seen over a hundred times (although I'd rather not) but the seats that have obstructed views of the goals are unreasonable. I'm no Art Vandelay, but it seems there's no other arena in the country that has this problem when switching from basketball to hockey. Would it be that hard to make adjustments over a two year period in order to turn this place into a more hockey-friendly environment. Everyone's talking about how embarrassing it will be but I keep going back to the fact that we wont even be playing there for 2 more years. It just seems like a no brainer that these things will be taken care of. Then again, Brooklyn or Nassau, this is still the rotating circus that is the Islanders and nothing would really surprise me. Ok, Snow coming out of retirement to fix the goaltending issue would surprise me. A little.
