Canadian Olympic Team: Tavares Absolute Lock, Hamonic Not Mentioned

I constantly hear how awesome Travis Hamonic is and not just on LightHouseHockey. The Islanders got him for a real bargain and he is one of the most up and coming d-men in the league. I understand Canada has more good d-men than some countries have great d-men..Canada is so deep at every position that it is literally The Best of The Best: Hockey Version (BOTB was a great movie).

TSN/ESPN does a little piece of this and even though Tavares is an absolute lock, Hamonic is no where to be found. Is he just too young for this team.

ps. ESPN also presumes this is the last time NHL will participate in the Olympics. I don't really know why that is since they say that every single time and yet it always happens.
