Not sure if fans know Ted Nolan's former assistant with the Isles is also Aboriginal, as is Ted. Although I've never met either, I know a number of people from John's community, and his sister is the partner of a close friend. John has a solid reputation for giving back to the community, thought some fans may be interested in what he's doing post-Islanders.
