After a marathon bargaining session under federal mediator Scot Beckenbaugh, the NHL and NHLPA have agreed to a tentative deal to end the NHL lockout.
The NHL lockout is over after 113 days, 571 lost games and several million angry tweets and blog posts. The man to thank is dogged mediator Scot Beckenbaugh (leave off the last T for "This ends NOW!"), who literally and figuratively bridged the many gaps between the NHL and the PA.
