So, the Flyers AHL team will be moving to my neck of the woods starting the 2013 season and I was wondering if anyone else has to deal with a farm team of a team they hate being close. Also, because it's August and there isn't much else to talk about. Anyway, would you root for a Flyers AHL team? I know it's not the same as the real team, but it still sort of sucks. What if I like a guy, and then the next week he's up with the big team? I deal with this with baseball as the Phillies have their AAA team here, but I don't follow them enough to really care.

Or am I just being really stupid and I shouldn't care and just like the team that is going to be a few miles away? Any help would be appreciated.
