Many of you expressed an interest in a LHH fantasy football league, so it is now put together. The premise is pretty simple; build a football team with $100 million or less every week. Teams can possess the same players as other teams and are essentially trying to pick the highest scoring players at each position from a full pool on a weekly basis. There is also no cap on the amount of fantasy teams in the league. If you're reading this from another blog or aren't a member of LHH and want to join in, feel free.

The trick is that the players gain and lose value depending on their performance. So often, you will have a player increase their value so much that if you drop them for whatever reason, they may be too expensive to buy back at their new salary. This is particularly tough during bye weeks. After the jump, the league information.

The league is called Lighthouse Hockey, but first you will need to go to the Yahoo Salary Cap Football homepage, click on "join a group" and enter in 3543 as the league ID, and "dynasty" as the password. It will ask you your favorite team, and where you're from and you will be compared against the fans of your state and favorite team as well.

Here is a FAQ and rules page to help get you started if you're unfamiliar. There is no fee and no prize except for bragging rights, but hey, it will help to get us through the hockeyless winter a bit.
