POLL: Finals Vote for LHH Hockey Game

Bumped one last time, July 5: Russel will be making reservations after the weekend, so get your final votes/comments in now if you plan to play.

Updated and bumped up, June 29: Get your votes/opinions in by July 8 so Russel can commence securing the rink.

Original post follows...

Hello all. Praise be to Bossy and glory be the Potvin.

Don't think I can make it to play (but you never know), but Russel, who has been leading the charge for the first Lighthouse Hockey pick-up game, asked that I post this update so that we can nail down a date and details.

Rink [Updated with better details]: Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center
1001 Stewart Avenue
Bethpage, NY 11714

Only has Saturday nights available for us. Times are 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Sundays are unavailable, also the rink is closed for maintenance from June 17th to July 8th.

Dates: Please answer the poll for your preference the following dates (all Saturdays):

July 14th
July 28th
August 4th
August 11th
August 18th
August 25th

Use the comments section to hash out further details.

Additional Note from Russel: This will be a friendly-meet and greet game, so no checking, I do not want to see any of our LHH bloggers injured. Some of us are in our 40s and 50s and will not be there to check someone head first into the boards, if you know what I mean.

Equipment needs: Helmet, gloves, pads, and sticks. Oh, we need pucks too!

Rough Directions from OzzyFan:

~1mile off Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway/Route 135, going South I believe, they don't have an exit coming the other way. So ultimately, you can take the Northern State Parkway or LIE/I495 to the S.O.B/Route 135 going South and you are . I only know this because my grandma lives in bethpage. I believe if you take the southern state to RT135 it gets a little harder because you have to u-turn and othe stuff because of the exit placement.
