Offer Friday 6/15/12: 1st-Line RW

Here is the concept and rules behind "Offer Friday"...

Every Friday I will create a FanPost dedicated to a certain NYI need and suggest a few players that may fit that spot via trade. In the comments section, I will put each player/asset and you reply to that original comment with what you would offer - much like we do for FIG (First Islanders Goal).

If there is another player/package that you think would address the problem/issue then start a new comment with that player/package and people will comment below on what they would trade for that player.

For each player/package you add, include in the body why you think that person would fill the void we are discussing each Friday. Offers don't have to be just trades - it can be how much you would offer a UFA to come to the NYI.

This week's Offer Friday discussion - 1st LINE WINGER (R/W)

Obviously there is some skepticism about P.A. Parenteau returning to the NYI for the 2012-13 season and beyond. The Islanders best interest would be to find a scoring winger to fill this void. Here are some intial options.

1). Resign PA Parenteau

2). Sign Alexander Semin

3). Trade for Patrick Kane

4). Trade for Patrick Marleau
