Would you gamble on Matz Zuccarello Aasen?

Hi everyone. Flåbuse here.

Just read an article on a Swedish hockey website about Mats Zuccarello Aasen (MZA) and that he feels that the NYR treated him badly and therefore wants to leave. I'm going to summarize the article for you. I've tried to translate the best way I can so don't get to hooked up on some of the quotes he makes. Google translate it if you wanna read the whole article.

-"Rangers haven't treated me well". says the Norweigan to netteavisen.no (weird name, I know). If I'm going to be honest I don't think they have treated me well. He never thought that Tortorella appreciated him as a hockey player.

I'm not sure why the coach didn't have any trust in me. I don't think I haven given him any reason not to believe in me. When I played here last year I recieved a lot of minutes on the PP. This year they have been awful (that's a nice translation) on the PP and still I haven't got the opportunity to play. When I got called up I showed I still could play and we scored three goals on the PP and I got an assist.

I have played 50 games and know I'm good enough to earn a spot on this team, that's what really makes me disappointed.I'm not happy by the way I've been treated but I think I could give NHL another shot with the right circumstances. I've spent two years in the AHL and have showed that I can play there and I don't think that more time there will help my development as a hockey player.

MZA just signed a contract with KHL club Metallurg Magnitogorsk but that contract can be terminated if another NHL club makes an offer.

The article in it's orginial version can be found here.

Your call. Would you sign MZA or not?
