We'll start with the ugliness and get that out of the way: Bridgeport conceded 13 goals over the weekend, and 18 goals over the last three games, capped by last night's 6-1 loss in Binghamton.

Jason Clark got an assist, his second pro point, on Brandon DeFazio's late shutout ender. Nathan McIver was minus-3 and collected 18 PIM. Kevin Poulin was pulled after four goals, but the blame appears to lie with the men in front of him.

Europe: Tavares with Six Points. (Bust.)

• Bern smoked Biel again, with John Tavares notching only two goals and four assists in an 8-2 blowout. As Kaonashi noted in comments of the previous thread, I guess this is Johnny T. in second gear. Biel features Patrick Kane and Tyler Seguin, who each had a point.
• In the KHL, Lubomir Visnovsky has four goals and five assists on the season for Slovan Bratislava. Kirill Petrov's Ak Bars Kazan is fighting for the top spot in the league, but he's been stuck on eight points for most of the month.
• Michael Grabner is up to 10 goals and nine assists in 15 games for VCV of the Austrian league.
• Josh Bailey has seven points in four games already for the Bietigheim Steelers of the German second division.
• Frans Nielsen has selfishly decided to score a goal finally to go with his 14 assists for Lukko in Finland.

Prospects: Ryan Strome Nears 2.0 Points/GP

• Ryan Strome assisted on all four third-period goals in a wild comeback shootout win for Niagara. They scored four unanswered in the third, including two in the final 30 seconds to tie it and force OT. Strome is up to 50 points in 26 games.
  
• Andrei Pedan had two assists in Guelph's 7-5 win over Ottawa [video]. Adam Pelech was held off the score sheet for Erie but has 21 points in 26 games.
  
• Brenden Kichton notched another assist in Spokane's 4-2 win over Tri-City. That gives him 29 points in 25 games.
• In the NCAA, Denver blew a 3-0 first-period lead to New Hampshire, but Scott Mayfield didn't figure in the scoring or the scapegoating.
• Anders Lee had three goals on the weekend, including two goals and an assist last night to "elevate his game" to help Notre Dame salvage a series split with North Dakota.
