.....admittedly, it's a bit SOON but, based upon what I saw/heard Friday night (despite the score being closer than I would've preferred) the mainland presence is looking very strong indeed, in particular The Reverend, KK (still not entirely sure what prompted his and Travis' matching 10-minute misconducts to close out the 2nd period) and a genuine hometown success story in Brandon DeFazio. KP seems to have returned to his QMJHL form of which Patrick Roy raved - very encouraging, in the face of this infernal (but hopefully NOT eternal!) lockout.....
