With the start of the new season I'm looking to buy a new Isles jersey. I'm still trying to decided whether to get a Nielsen or Grabner jersey but could use some help with figuring out sizing. I already have an authentic Bailey Reebok away sweater (the first one they made for us with the shoulder patch) which is a 52. I'm about 6'3, 185 with some pretty broad shoulders. My current jersey fits pretty well if not a bit large (but most hockey jerseys are.)

My problem comes in trying to decide whether to get a large or extra large premier jersey. The sizing chart can be found here. As you can see the 52 doesn't exactly line up to either the large or the XL, I also don't know if there any fit differences between the older shirt and the new ones that I should be worried about.

I'm trying to figure out which one is going to be the better fit before I go and get a name stitched on. I'm hoping someone as tall as I am could give me some advice and help me avoid the trip from Suffolk to an Islanders store.
