Essentially the article goes in depth on the challenges for the NHLPA with strengthening the union, educating the players, and determining what to negotiate for. Additionally, it brings up the idea of a soft cap for the NHL. I'm sure I'm one of many who would hate that. I notice most of the discussion for the next CBA around here has revolved around how to fix cap circumvention and eliminate the cap floor. This article had me thinking things might not be that easy.
