UPDATE: See NIFA fact sheet summary at IPB. According to Corey Witt, IPB's eyes at today's NIFA Director's meeting, NIFA seem prepared to consider the arena plan with an open mind. Given the low expectations, I guess this is a positive. As per Witt: NIFA Chairman does not take official position on Hub development/arena position. Will provide fact sheet at end of meeting. Board member Ronald Steinman says the referendum amounts to a vote on a property tax increase of 3.5/4%. If passed, NIFA will take closer look to see if the project is appropriate from a financial point of view.
