Maybe the Islanders have something like this, or maybe they don't, but I'm sure as fans we are tired of hearing about the shoddy conditions of Long Island and how bad it must be to play here...if not from the players themselves, at least from other fanbases.
The task is relatively simple; if you have any pictures of some of the scenic, historic and cultural landmarks of Long Island, post the picture in the comment section. I will work on some of the demographic stuff and post as well. Once we have a nice enough assembly of photos, I will create a story out of them that we will slam the news and twittosphere with. How to do it after the jump.Unfortunately, you are not able to post pictures directly from your computer's hard drive right into SB Nation blogs. What you will have to do is take them from a place like facebook (the URL of the picture location) or twitter, yfrog etc. just like you would with any other picture. Maybe, just maybe, we have more parks than some other places and can help to ease this free agency nonsense...Long Island is far more than the barren strip of Hempstead Turnpike than people generally see...let's force them to see it. I'd put it up against any other hockey community out there!
In 3 years, let's be saying "Christian who???"
