The Minnesota Wild are proud to announce that we proudly take F Mika Zibanejad.

" We are fortunate that Mika fell to us. We did not count on this impressive young foward still being on the board." Wild GM Chuck Fletcher stated emphatically. 

 RW is where he may play as the Wild already have real promising centers Mikael Granlund, Cody Almond, and Casey Wellman in their system. Over on LW, the system has a few of good young prospects in Colton Gillies,  Jason Zucker, Brett Bulmer,  and Johan Larsson, all having a good chance to be realized as solid NHL players.

As for RW, Carson McMillan, the 22 year old Brandon, Man., Canada native did play four games with the Wild, but beyond that it is pretty thin.
