I thought it would be fun to create a post where NY Islanders fans could post their wishes for the 2011-2012 season.  Try to keep them somewhat reasonable (Gervais for Ovi is not reasonable lol).  BEGIN!

Here are mine:

1). A positive goal differential at the end of the 2012 season.

2). Islanders endings up with 95 points and take the 4th seed.

3). $3.5m/year for 5 years contract extension for Frans.

4). Plans revealed for the Islanders to move to Suffolk County - close to the Ronkonkoma or Brentwood train stations (both areas have substantial open land right off the LIE that could house a new coliseum.  The Islanders could provide shuttles to fans who take the LIRR to Brentwood/Ronkonkoma stations).  I would be satisfied with plans for Queens or Brooklyn as well.  I think the Isles should get out of Nassau County.  Nassau is in deep financial troubles and was stupid enough to not take on the economy-booming, job creating, privately funded Lighthouse Project.

5). Captain Jack given official head coach status.
