Michael Grabner is really good on the Penalty Kill (Warning Very Small Sample Size - Little Predictive Value)
- On the PK, Grabner leads the league in Corsi (Shot Differential) on the Penalty Kill (-40.74), leading #2 Patrick Elias by 5 whole shots
- Grabner is #2 in the league in Relative +/- on the PK, barely behind Ottawa's Milan Mitchalek
- Grabner is the 14th best in the league at drawing penalties on the penalty kill (#15 is actually Blake Comeau)
- Grabner does all this, but has not committed a penalty on the PK, and has nver caused the team to go to a 5 on 3.

Comeau is definitely underrated as well
Grabs, Comeau, Frans, & Bailey are a big reason the PK has been doing so well even with the 6th pair D that they have had to play with at times. I don’t know if Comeau ever becomes a legit top 6 but I’ve really warmed to him being a permanent fixture on the 3rd line, COZO and all.
You mean to tell me shooting the puck from 70 feet out doesn't earn us extra goals?
Nice find. Grabs is looking great.
Proud Islanders fan, the organization that iced the greatest team to ever play the game and won 4 straight cups. Best overall player in the nhl right now=Pavel Datsyuk.
I'm also an optimistic Knicks fan, pessimistic Mets fan, and a happy Jets fan.
