What the hell, it's early enough for me. If the islanders could go after any 2 Unrestricted Free Agents this offseason, 1 defenseman and 1 forward, who would  you want them to go after and why? Fairly simple and straight forward. Try and make them as realistic as possible(Brad Richards is a dream, even with his concussion questions. And NOBODY should bother mentioning the words Nicklas Lidstrom).

And no goalies are in this discussion because I'm going with the assumption Montoya is gonna be RDP's backup going into next year given his overall play this year and RFA status.
