Islander-Face Update: James Wisniewski. From the Montreal Gazette: "Defenceman James Wisniewski(notes) was hit beneath an eye midway through the first period on a shot by Oilers’ Taylor Hill. Wisniewski crumpled to the ice and slid on his stomach into the corner, a pool of blood left when he was helped from the ice. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment and observation, escorted by team chief surgeon David Mulder. It was unclear whether he’d immediately accompany the club to Calgary."
