Is this a different person? What does MSG do to Butchie? I think he takes a lot of flak here for being a bit stilted and not giving the kind of honest (and at times less than flattering) asesments that Billy Jaffe gave. With that said,his recent interview with TSN was interesting and honest. Butchie says:
-Blame Mike Milbury for the last 15 years of haplessness
-Perhaps there is too much responsiblity resting on young players shoulders. He calls our vets "at the end of their road" or something pretty unflattering.
Would have loved to hear what this Butch Goring has to say about RDP. Frankly, im sick of hearing: "no chance on that one for ricky." Anyway, he doesn't say anything groundbreaking but it was interesting to hear him be so honest. He also has a couple of good stories about the good ol' days:
