Evgeni Nabokov experienced the Islanders goalie rite of passage by going down with an injury in the first period, Rick DiPietro came in cold, took his first shot off the post, and completed a half-rink-length assist to John Tavares on the Matt Moulson game-winner that gave the Islanders breathing room.
