The Tavares line has accounted for the vast majority of the team's points in the first 7 games. Cappy has been reluctant so far to break up our one successful unit, concentrating instead on fine tuning the remaining lines. It's not working in part because other teams' defenses are concentrating on our #1 line and inspite of this very little offense is being generated by the other units.
Since the Ranger game we have been outscored 11 to 3 in the last 3 games. The second line of Okposo/Nielsen/Grabner have just 3 goals total! The third and fourth lines are scoreless, which includes Bailey/Comeau/Rolston!
Clearly changes are coming if this continues even for just a few more games - when 10% of the season will have been played. How would you alter the offensive line-up? Is it time to give some of the regulars a seat with a view from above and let some of the Bridgeport guys take a drive to the Island?
