Brock Nelson getting interviewed for UND's website last year. Interesting tidbit coming out, he passed up a year with Green Bay in the USHL last year to go to UND instead.

Hockey is crazy big up there in North Western MN. I’ve only been up that way as far as Bemidji/Itasca area but it’s beautiful country that way. It’s interesting too, Aaron Ness is from Roseau, 20 minutes away from Warroad. And a buddy of mine just took a call in Hallock to serve a congregation up there. Nothing else, just a string of nonsensical ramblings about the Lake of the Woods region.

hey David...
in 1990 i was driving out west, to British Columbia and up to the Yukon and alaska…i crossed into the States at Souix St. Marie for the cheaper gas…pretty much a parrallel highway States side all the way to the ocean…and i agree with you, it is absolutely beautiful country…prior to that, Buffalo and Detroit was my main exposure to the US, and of course, my mother’s family is from the Quebec side of the Quebec Vermont border, and that is beautiful country too…loved crossing to Vermont in the fall, and coasting down the mountain road surrounded on all sides by the fall leaves
