Evgeni Nabokov played quite well again (30 saves) though had some luck (including multiple posts) and kept alive a puck he probably shouldn't have for the Penguins' tying goal. He stopped first shots and gobbled rebounds again. But after 65 minutes, either he or the coach took himself out for the shootout. Goalies.
Mixed performance overall from the rest of the team during the hockey portion of the game. More offense generated from the third line than I remember at any point so far in this season, but the whole Islanders team was shelled for much of the second period, lucky to survive it with a 1-0 lead. Milan Jurcina was a welcome site.
