I did the DP poll last week, so I figure let's do another one this week!  It's August so there is absolutely nothing going on in the world of the Islanders.  This poll has to do with the team in general.  Based on the roster that we currently have, how many points do you think the Islanders will get this year? If you feel they will fall somewhere between 85 to 95 points, do you think that their point total will be enough for the playoffs?  Leave your responses in the comments section if you wish!

I am going to guess 88 points for the team this year.  I think that will not be quite enough for the playoffs, but they will keep it exciting up until the last week of the regular season.  While I think they will miss the playoffs this year, I believe they will put the league on notice that they will be a playoff team in 2011-2012.
