O'Brien Forcing the 'Nucks' hand?

Shane O'Brien has accepted his qualifying offer from the Vancouver Canucks.

O'Brien thought it best to agree to his one-year, $1.6 million offer and avoid what could have been a messy salary arbitration situation. His contract puts the Canucks in a bit of a salary cap bind with 22 roster players signed and less than $300,000 of space remaining. Vancouver still has to account for Cody Hodgson's $1.6 million cap hit, should he make the team, and the money that RFA Mason Raymond will make following arbitration. Kevin Bieksa is the most likely candidate to be moved to help give them some breathing room.

So, is it worth pursuing either Bieska or Hodgson in a cap forced move they'll need to make?

I'm not too up on either of those players situations, but i know there's been drama surrounding Cody for a while with how they handled him, and, while we may not need a C, we're always willing to welcome young cheap talent on the isle...
