Word around the NHL is the team's fourth overall pick is available. Ownership, tired of hearing about the future, wants success - now. There is going to be a very good player - Connolly? Fowler? Gudbranson? - available in that spot, and Columbus is going to try and leverage it into some immediate help.
Amazing if it happens, really. I wonder who would be the right fit for them?

oh and two guesses which team's fans are already fantasizing
about grabbing the #4 from CLB with their assortment of spare parts that they call a team?
usually means toronto, but i could actually see the rags trying to jump up there
clean and sober for 2 months and change... only thing different is that now i KNOW i'm the asshole everyone says i am :-)
It is Toronto
and they have skipped the step where they try to figure some insane plan that will actually get the pick. They are busy deciding what to do with it…and congratulating the author of the piece on his work.
lmfao
I’m sure they will offer Columbus their 2012 & 2013 first rounders, along with all their pick in 2011 that don’t belong to Boston.
Perhaps its therapy
Now they have the longest Stanley Cup drought, they have no big draft pick to look forward to, and they are looking good for matching the Rangers drought in 11 years. In any event, here is the article in question:
ehhh, not a good move for them. I’d rather see if Mason bounces back this year before leveraging the future.
The Islanders went from Marty McInnis and a 2nd Overall pick to Jesse Joensuu.
and they aren't fantasizing about how they would get the pick
they have moved right to what to do with it.
