de Haan Surgery/Rehab Update
Sounds like things are going well, according to the local Kemptville EMC.
I liked this:
"They (Islanders) paid for everything. That's pretty good for a player who hasn't even signed a contract," [the elder] de Haan chuckles.

hmm… do we trust our doctors more than oshawa’s? or is it just that we still have X-amount in our organization-wide FSA and are trying to use it all up by the end of the season, lol
NY Islanders Hockey: Where MRI's are addictive
LOL … conceivably both?
Lighthouse Hockey: What's wrong with lotteries? I've been in lots of lotteries.
wouldn't it be something if
the Isles drafted either Seguin or Nino and McIlrath and those two AND DeHaan and Hamonic made the team for 2010-11? Next year should be VERY good.
pair them with vets
Streit—Hamonic
Martinek—DeHaan
Hillen—McIlrath
If (when) Martinek gets injured, move Hillen up into his spot and pair MacDonald with McIlrath. With all the entry level salaries this team has, they could afford to carry 1-2 extra defensemen.
