Ty Webb: You've got to win this hole.
Danny Noonan: I thought winning wasn't important--
Ty Webb: --Me winning isn't. You do.
Danny Noonan: ... Great grammar.

Blake Comeau is said to be ready to go. Still one more hole at forward to fill. Mix and match, match and mix. Ten games on the league docket tonight. I see tank people.

Doug Weight shot?

Doug Weight shot!

BTW, Darren Pang said Weight fully intends to get the shoulder operated on so he can continue playing. That’s going to be an interesting sell. Rehab would take a while, me thinks.

A PP goal?

gonna be about 45,000 there. Our seats are in what would be the end zone, but the giant video board is gonna help with sightlines. The atmosphere should be great. Beats going to Vegas and shelling out for seats there. Dont get me wrong, Vegas is Vegas :) but it is cost effective here.

Good game boys

That was one of the most entertaining games I’ve watched all year. Despite all the hype surrounding your arena issues in Long Island, I’ve got to say that the Nassau Coliseum is one of my favorite buildings in the NHL. The Blues play there so rarely, I forget how much character it has. Truly one of the best remaining old-time buildings in the league. Makes me miss the old St. Louis Arena. Enjoy it while you can.

"You suck, but at least you know you suck. That's what I like about you." -Brett Hull

by hullnoates on Mar 11, 2010 9:51 PM EST reply actions

Agreed.

I try to tell people that. People rip on the Coliseum, but it reminds me of The Arena and the other old barns: If the hockey’s good, and the crowd’s there, that’s the kind of atmosphere I want. Bathroom lines and crowded corridors are secondary.
